Now everyone is settling into the New Year and fondly waiting for the snow to melt, we have another interview with one of our preferred building groups: Rykon Homes.

Like all our preferred building groups, Rykon was selected due to their extensive experience and ingenuity in design and building with a focus on contemporary/modern architectural design.

Meet Rykon Homes:

1) Tell us a little about Rykon Homes?

As an award-winning builder, Rykon Construction has been planning, developing and building custom homes and properties of distinction in British Columbia since 1984. We don’t see ourselves as just another Kelowna home builder. We strive to help clients realize their dreams for custom-built homes, so our approach to construction is different. 2) How did you come to be involved with the McKinley Beach Project?

I believe it was a combination of our interest in the development and the developer’s interest in Rykon Construction. After a few discussions it was apparent that Rykon was a good fit for McKinley with our 30+ years of experience building custom homes in some of Kelowna’s most desirable developments.

3) What are your goals for building at McKinley Beach and can you tell us about the types and style of homes you’re looking forward to building there?

We pride ourselves in being flexible in the type and style of home we can build but we are excited to be a part of the shift towards contemporary/modern architecture that is more desirable in the Okanagan now more than ever.
