  1. How many years have you been in business?

3rd Generation Homes has been in business for nine years. We are no strangers to the industry, as home building has been in our family for three generations, with both of our parents and grandparents being builders.

  1. How many homes have you built locally within the last 5 years?

We have built over 40 homes in the last five years and we typically have 10-12 homes in construction at any given time. Our philosophy is driven by the phrase ‘quality over quantity’.

  1. What differentiates you from other builders?

Building personal connections and beautiful homes is at the core of our business. We use quality trades that produce a quality home, and we don’t allow just anyone to work on our homes. As they say, the whole is only as good as the sum of its parts. For us, that comes down to ensuring that every detail is correct.

By using an online portal called Buildertrend, homeowners have instant access to their project. They can check invoices online, see where they are at with their budget, and follow the scheduled calendar as their home moves along. This ensures they never feel out-of-the-loop.

Clients can rest assured that their home is in good hands and top-of-priority each step of the way. With the significant decrease in errors we encounter, through using this software, more money can be funneled into providing better quality products and services—helping us provide homes that will last for generations to come.

  1. What makes you unique in your process?

We let clients pay their own bills, giving them the ultimate control throughout the build. Having this kind of open book policy allows our clients to have complete insight into everything we do throughout the project. Plus, this means they get to rack up the points on their credit card too—bonus!

Our staff are all skilled in their areas of expertise and work hard amongst one another to create the smoothest possible build process for our clients. Our supervisors are on site daily, managing the build process to ensure a quality home.

  1. What are you most proud of when it comes to the homes you build?

Quality is of the utmost importance in the homes we build. A home is the largest personal purchase that most people make in their lifetime. We focus on using local trades and suppliers, and we operate as part of the community. We take enormous pride in our work, and we want our clients to be captivated by their new home when they see it for the first time.
