The Okanagan Fall Events Guide
The leaves are falling, covering streets with carpets of yellow and red, the nights are cooler, and only crazy people are still swimming in the lake. That’s right, it’s Fall in the Okanagan! Now that we’ve all recovered from an over abundance of turkey, let’s take a look and see what events are coming up in the Valley this Fall:
When: October 17th (noon – 3pm)
Where: McKinley Beach on Shayler Road
Details: You’re invited to visit McKinley Beach this weekend to explore the area, walk the trails, visit the beach, and view the available lots in the newly released phase V with the McKinley Sales team. BBQ and beverages will also be available on site.
When: October 17th & 18th
Where: The Capital News Centre, 4105 Gordon Drive
Details: A diverse pop culture-based two-day event featuring panels, an exhibition floor, and signing and photo opportunities with TV and feature film celebrities and industry professionals.
KELOWNA CORN MAZE
When: Now – October 31st
Where: 575 Valley Road
Details: With a daytime and nighttime corn maze that stretches 3/4 of a mile, the Kelowna Corn Maze is fun for the whole family. Beware the nighttime maze, things will jump out at you . . .
When: Throughout Fall
Where: 3690 Berard Road
Details: The McMillan Farm offers hayrides, a corn maze, petting zoo, pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins. Did we mention pumpkins?
When: October 24th & 25th
Where: Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way

HALLOWEEN EVENTS
There are a variety of Halloween events throughout Kelowna and the surrounding area but here are a few highlights:
- October 28th – 31st – Rocky Horror Picture Show Screening, Armstrong
- October 30th – Sugar Skull Strut, Kelowna
- October 31st – Spooktacular, Kelowna
